Good luck to everyone!

I remember when I was selected. Was on a golf trip playing on a course out in an area with very limited cell service. After our round we headed into town and my phone absolutely blew up with notifications.

Captain @jdtox left me a message that I should check in to the forum ASAP.

My several hour absence had created quite a commotion.

What a great beginning to a great adventure.

Look forward to following along and rooting on Team Paradise to a 5Pete!

Okay, hopefuls, if you get picked, who are you telling first?

For alums, who did you tell first? Last time, I told my wife first. First time, I was on the phone with a good friend and told him.

I was New Orleans for a conference and me and my coworkers were out getting breakfast before travelling back home. I was in shock and my coworkers thought something was wrong, so I had to try to explain this crazy, unbelievable experience to them. So they are the first that I actually told about it. I told my wife as soon as I had the opportunity after that.

Tomorrow folks get to sign up and then a few lucky THPers will be in the same state of shock and disbelief that I was when my number was drawn. I can't wait to see the teams filled out!
