Shot Scope X5 Watch

Watch has been solid for a while, but it did a couple of strange things last round. It had the wrongs club recorded on a couple of holes, and in the actual app itself, I have a random club in my bag that I’ve never even heard of, let alone owned, using a tag that I’m not even using. As soon as I remove it, it reappears. And I can’t delete it as apparently I’ve previously used it.

Thanks. I hate how hard it is to get to that screen. It's multiple button presses and scrolling. Same issue when wanting to track Pausing.
Would rather have a separate menu screen that I can get to buy swiping up or down to get those options.

Also want to know why that screen never came up altogether.

Is anyone else having issues syncing course updates on the watch? I try to sync using the phone app and it just gets stuck on 3% every time

I am not, I just had to update a new course a week ago and it seemed to work just fine for me.
 
My watch is all kinds of messed up, oh well I’ll throw it in the bag and figure out when I get home
 
Been having some trouble the last couple weeks with my X5. On the course, it's missing a bunch of shots - need to get on the check tags and see if it's the tags or the watch at fault.

On the app, I can connect and sync the watch just fine, but when I go to edit the round on my iphone the app crashes immediately. It works fine on my iPad so I've been using that.

I played today during a cloudy day. My X5 must have missed 15 shots. And yes, different clubs were missed. GPS worked fine.
Typical shot missed.

I have had to ask them to re-map parts of my course recently (updated aerial imagery showing the completed construction of the tees and greens, and a second time for a missed tee box). Each time, I got instructions to Sign Out of the app, not just close it, before signing back in and doing the course updates. No issues, either time.
 
Much better results this season out of the X5 so far. I have had some issues with it dropping shots/tagging incorrect clubs/missing putts, which has led to a bit more post-round editing, but I'm enjoying the data sets to focus on my practice for the week. The battery life has been a little better for me, I think I finished my Sunday round with about 30% battery left.

Just an FYI that SS support got back to me and asked me to Hard Reset the watch and the tracking last night was much better.
Perfect - No, Better, Yes.
 
Did use a little trick last night with the X5 watch that I got from @jenisontheforum postings in one of the SS experiences.

I hit a driver a little bit to the right, near an Environmental OB (Free Drop).
Had the X5 and was looking at the edge of the OB at round 200 yards.
I said, "My watch says we are about 200 yards from the tee box. which my partner said "That's about right correct?"
I said, "No I've been hitting around 220" so we moved up to around 220 from the Tee and sure enough we found the ball.

Using the distance on the watch really helps to find wayward shots. It's a great tip - I use it more than I should admit.
 
Looks like my X5 has stopped reading tags for a second time :(. I did all the stuff Shot Scope suggested when this happened last June and they replaced it, to no avail. I've submitted a support request and will see what they say.
